  • Is my visit One-on-One with a licensed provider?
    Yes, every visit is exclusively yours, and with a licensed provider. You will be seen my Sharnice Parker, an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), who has been practicing medicine for 10 years. NPI # 1780295667 DEA# MW6604703
  • What services do you see during the simple, sick, or urgent care virtual visits?"
    Health issues for the service includes but not limited to the following: Urinary tract infection Ear infection STD/STI Yeast infection Pink eye Respiratory infection Seasonal allergies GERD Cold/Flu Bug bites Lab orders
  • What can be discussed during our telephone consultation?
    This service can be used for advice, lab review, new and existing medication questions , and a few additional items. Please be advised that youwill not receive written prescriptions with this service. If a prescription (or refill) is needed, you must schedule a Virtual Visit or a Medication Refill visit, depending on what fits your needs best.
  • How does the Medication Refill virtual visit work?
    Our services have you covered until your next visit with your primary care provider. Whether it’s overnight, the weekend or the holidays, we offer medication refills for your convenience. Please understand, there are certain types of medication we will cover, which includes: Cholesterol Diabetes Estrogen topical creams Prenatal vitamins Thyroid medication Vitamin injections Birth control Asthma inhalers Antivirals Antidepressants Acid reflux medication Antibiotics If there is a specific medication you are wanting to be refilled, and not listed on this list, please click here to contact us. *Please note The team follows all regulatory standards and guidelines pertaining to prescription medication. We are able to verify medication prescription history and are entitled to the right to refuse service if the client is untruthful or is considered to be doctor shopping; there will be no refunds if this occurs.
  • What Medications can you NOT refill?
    The FAQ title can be adjusted in the settings tab of the App Settings. You can also remove the title by unchecking its checkbox in the settings tab.
  • How many visits do I get each month with a Membership Plan?
    That's the BEST part of this membership, you get UNLIMITED visits with your membership plan.
  • Do I have to commit to a certain number of months with a Membership Plan?
    Not at all. The plans are paid month to month. So cancel anytime.
  • What if I need to schedule after your listed operating hours?
    We're available when you need us. But, there will be an additional $50 fee assessed, on top of the visit cost, for any appointments required outside normal business hours.
  • Do you accept insurance as a form of payment?
    Unfortunately, we do not. Instant Med only accepts payment through our secure online payment portal.
